MIMIJO is a small independent British clothing label, a contemporary fashion brand for women who love the "less is more" concept, founded in June 2017 by me, Michelle Joseph.
MIMIJO is a one woman show! Almost very item is handmade to order by me in my home studio in London UK (currently based in Luzern Switzerland until further notice), my making process includes the designing, fabric sourcing, cutting out, sewing, stitching, steaming, labelling, packaging and sending of each individual item. As well as that, I deal with all the ‘businessy’ things too!
All items (other than the accessories, t-shirts and sweaters) are handmade in very limited quantities, most pieces take around 4 hours to be made, no item is pre-made as I like to have as little wasted fabrics and resources as possible. I source and purchase all my fabrics in London.
